Maximum Rectified Current Of a Diode
Jul 11, 2018

The maximum rectified current refers to the maximum positive average current allowed by diode when used for a long time. The maximum rectified current of point contact diode is below tens of milliampere(mA). The maximum rectifying current of the face contact diode is larger. When the current exceeds the allowable value, the diode will be damaged due to overheating of PN junction.
